Multiloop and playback duration

Intro→Verse × 2→Chorus × 3→Ending

With Loop enabled, each section plays its own number of passes before continuing to the next. The introduction, gaps between sections and ending play once. With Loop disabled, the whole piece plays once.

Section countBehaviour
1One pass, then continue.
2 or moreTotal passes, including the first.
0 = infiniteThe section repeats until Stop. Later sections and the ending are not reached automatically.

Selecting a section chooses what to edit; it does not change playback order. During playback, the counter reports completed passes and the pass of the section currently playing.

Times in hh:mm:ss

  • Piece: duration between green and red markers, without additional passes.
  • Execution: elapsed / total, including repeats from every section. Elapsed time keeps increasing when the playhead jumps back.
  • If an active section is infinite, the total is ∞.

For finite counts: execution duration = piece duration + sum of (count − 1) × each section’s duration. Only portions inside the piece boundaries count. The display shows whole seconds.

Example: 16 bars at 120 BPM, 4/4

The piece lasts 00:00:32. A four-bar verse × 2 adds 8 seconds; a four-bar chorus × 3 adds 16 seconds. Execution lasts 00:00:56.

Multiloop controls playback. To include the same repeats in MIDI, arrange actual copies of the blocks on the timeline.
