Musical sections, boundaries and fade-out
Form sections: Intro, A, B, ending
Right-click the ruler above the tracks to add a section at the chosen bar. Right-click its label to rename it, change its starting bar or delete it. Sections from iReal and compatible sources are displayed and can be edited; the menu can restore the source sections.
Sections describe the form and also appear in the Player and MP4. Repeats are set separately through loops: naming a section A does not automatically repeat it.
Piece and loop boundaries
Triangles mark piece start/end and the selected loop’s start/end. Drag them or use the numeric fields. + Loop adds a range; + Inner loop creates a nested repeat. Loops can be separate or fully nested, but cannot cross.
Boundary fields count beats from 1: in 4/4, bar 9 starts at beat 33. The end of bar 24 is boundary 97. A loop count of 0 means infinite; a positive value sets the total number of passes.
Fade over the final N bars
Choose Fade out in the section menu and enter the number of final bars, from 0 to 128; 0 disables it. This applies to the DAW, Player and MP4. With finite loops, volume falls only at the end of the last pass; an infinite loop does not fade until a finite end is defined.
