Arranging, moving and duplicating parts

A block shows its source, instrument and musical description, including the base key when available. Hover to read the full details.

  1. Click to select a block and drag it to change its start. Snap aligns it to the grid.
  2. Right-click and choose Duplicate: the copy is independent and can be moved or edited in its source.
  3. Move blocks between compatible tracks: each keeps its instrument. Keep drum and melodic parts separate.
  4. Duplicate a track to copy its blocks and mix settings together. Change individual block sounds by reopening their source modules.

The mouse wheel scrolls through tracks; Ctrl + wheel changes zoom. Drag the background to pan. The dotted handle reorders tracks without changing block timing.

Delete removes the selected block. Undo/Redo and Ctrl+Z let you revise the arrangement. Block repeats reuse the same phrase; a duplicate lets you create an independent variation.
